The high pressure cleaner consists of two parts: a high pressure pump and a power source. The water flow boosting high pressure pump in these configurations acts to form a high pressure water stream with a certain amount of water. The function of the part driven by the power source such as electric motor and diesel engine is to provide power guarantee for the booster high pressure pump. In general, most high-pressure cleaning equipment uses a set of valves and pump heads to create a pressurized system for generating high-pressure water.

First, water is forced into the water inlet valve through the plunger and pressurized to pass it through the water outlet valve. The purpose of the valve is to prevent the flow of water back to back, thus controlling the passage of water through the high pressure pump. The valve is composed of a spring and a bracket, which is a pressure difference between the two sides of the valve to complete the operation of the water flow pressure. When the pressure exerted on the valve by the water flow is greater than the pressure that the spring can withstand, the valve opens. Conversely, when operating on the opposite stroke, the water flow automatically squeezes the bracket onto the seat of the valve, ensuring that the valve is closed, thus preventing backflow of water. We can understand the operating parameters of the high-pressure pump, that is, the flow rate and pressure per minute, which is used to indicate how much water is pumped through the nozzle in one minute and to ensure that the water flow has a rated pressure value.

The water flow rate of the high pressure pump can be adjusted by three ways: by increasing or decreasing the length of the inner diameter of the pump head; the second is by increasing or slowing the reciprocating speed of the plunger; the third is by lengthening or Shorten the back and forth operation of the plunger.
